the hustle and bustle of the airport and subway terminals below it.

the police are just as prevalent here as in Singapore

haha the perfect start for the morning !

alright im now at oakwood apartments, its rather nice. using my dad's laptop and plugged into the buildings cable internet, which i may add is very very good. the speed is off the charts, about $40 for a week, considering its uber fast.
a starbuck a day makes the jetlag go away (well almost)

if most of you guys haven't noticed, i've already flown outta singapore since last night (or morning, flight was midnight). reached japan around 7am odd, touched down in a rather unfamiliar terminal.. was expecting the same one like e other time round.

A local enjoying a hot cuppa

one thing to highlight would be the journey itself. the plane was like a furnace when we went to our seats; eavedropped and heard from the stewardess that the air conditioning broke down. it was really torturous i'm telling you.. what made matters worse was that there were these three singaporean blokes in front of me and my sisters. besides talking obnoxiously and (if i may add rather loudly with a capital L) about their "knowledge" concerning japan, they reclined their seats so far behind i'd have to be a midget to do anything in my seats. they constantly asked the stewardesses many cock questions like which soft drink was not gassy and why their seats were allegedly spolit (kinda ironic since they managed to recline it to my utter discomfort).

the airport was damn packed, both locals and foreigners were queueing to check in. waited close to 45 mins ?
waiting for the bus we booked to a hotel nearest to our apartment

So yeah thats pretty much where i'm staying, its pretty quiet here, as closeby theres a few ambassies. more like the cbd area, but quite near shibuya etc. slacked around at home, went to e supermarket to stockup on supplies.
then headed to a nearby cafe to grab some lunch, watch e crowd go by and just chill out in e open. had some spaghetti which was well cooked i must say.

anyhow, didn't do much, just walked around e area, quite a bit to explore, but there wasn't much shopping areas, but lotsa makan places. ate at some random restaurant, served quite nice food actually. didnt manage to take though.
there was some funny outdoor marathon thing going on after we ate our dinner, and its quite amazing really. the weather was i think close to 4-5 degrees ? haha and they were running and sweating, must have been real cold for them.
alright till e nxt post. haha, im not so sure whether will have enough energy to post another entry tmr, we'll see. till then, take care.
